How to activate your card
If you're new to NatWest, we'll post your debit card and PIN separately within a few days of opening your account. Once your card arrives we'll explain how to activate it.
If you're already a NatWest customer and have recently changed your account, there's no need to activate. You get to keep your existing card and PIN.
If your existing card is not contactless and you have an eligible account, you canrequest a new card, giving you a quick and simple way to make purchases. Retailer limits apply.

If you've misplaced your debit card, or want to stop it from being used, you can temporarily lock your card to protect it from unauthorised use. You can lock and unlock your card at any time using yourmobile app.

How to report your card as lost or stolen
If you think your debit card or any of your card details, such as your PIN may have been stolen, you should report it to us to avoid the possibility of fraud.
You can now instantly report your card as lost, stolen or damaged through yourmobile app. Simply open the app,tap on the account that your card is linked to and select 'Manage my card' to see your options.
You can also report your card by logging in to Online Banking.

How do I order a new, replacement or additional card-reader?
If you have not yet ordered a card reader or your card reader is lost, damaged or out of battery power, you can order a new one in Online Banking. Your replacement will arrive in 3-5 working days.
- Log in to your Online Banking service atwww.onlinebanking.natwest.com
- Select 'Security' from the menu in the 'Using a card reader' section.
- Select 'Order a card reader'.

How to order an accessible debit card
Our accessible card is available on all NatWest current accounts. It is developed with and accredited by the Royal National Institute of Blind People, so it's easier to use your card if you are blind or partially sighted.
Our cards are issued with flat print numbers. If you require a braille plastic wallet, please call us at 03457 888 444 (Relay UK – 18001 03457 888 444) for further details.

How to set your travel plans
Register your travel details with NatWest at least 24 hours before your trip, and we'll do our best to ensure your holiday spending isn't affected at all.
If you have ourmobile app, it’s easy to let us know you are going to use your debit card abroad.
Simply go to the app, tap on the account that your card is linked to, select 'Manage my card'and then select ‘Going Abroad’ to register your trip.

An arranged overdraft could be useful for short term borrowing. Understand arranged and unarranged overdrafts and their impact on your account. An overdraft is a form of borrowing and is repayable on demand.
If you already have an arranged overdraft limit on your account that you feel is too low or too high, we could help you change it.
Overdrafts are available to eligible NatWest current account customers, UK residents aged 18 or over. Subject to lending criteria.

How do I set up NatWest Rewards?
Great news, there is no need to set up your Rewards. You can see your MyRewards balance and claim straight from the NatWest app with the touch of a button. There's no need to use a password.
You need to pay in £1,250 to an eligible NatWest account every month.
Earn your Rewards
Every month you can:
Get £4 a month back in Rewards for 2 or more Direct Debits (2 of those Direct Debits needs to be at least £2 each).
Get £1 a month back in Rewards with 1 mobile app log in.
Earn Rewards at partner retailers when you use your NatWest debit card.

Claim your Rewards
The choice is yours. You can:
- Redeem Rewards as cashback which you can then transfer straight into your bank account or pay towards your NatWest credit card balance.
- Trade up for e-gift cards which you can use online or in store with our eligible partner retailers.
- Exchange your Rewards into money which is donated to one of our chosen charities
How to manage your Rewards
View your Rewards balance
It’s much quicker to access your MyRewards account through your NatWest app. Just login and select MyRewards to see your balance, earn or exchange your Rewards without needing a password.
You can also log in with a PIN and Password via the MyRewards website.
App available to customers aged 11+ with compatible iOS and Android devices and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries.

View your Rewards balance
Watch your Reward balance grow in the app. Just login and select MyRewards to see your balance, earn or exchange your Rewards without needing a password.
Approve a transaction
If you've got your notifications turned on, you can tap the notification to go straight to your app. Otherwise, log in to your app and tap the 'Approve a transaction' tab at the top of the home screen.
Get Cash without your card
Withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours from our branded ATMs. You must have at least £10 available in your account and an active debit card Simply log in to your app and click on the “Get Cash” icon - you’ll find it at the bottom of the app home screen.
Pay in cheques securely
Just take a photo of the front and back of the cheque using our app and the money will be paid into your account. Limits apply.
Lock and Unlock your debit or Mastercard credit card
If you've misplaced your debit or credit card, you can lock it until you find it. Card been lost, stolen, damaged? The quickest way to report this is with our app.
Budget better, spend less
Put your spending into categories and get a detailed view of where your money is going. You must be aged 16+. Only available for Personal and Premier accounts.
Change your bank account
If you'd prefer one of our other accounts, you can change your account online. It's quick and easy to change.

How do I set up, change or cancel a Direct Debit?
A Direct Debit is an agreement between you and the organisation you’re paying, which allows the organisation you want to pay to collect varying amounts from your account – but only if you’ve been given advanced notice of the amounts and dates of collection.
View or cancel a Direct Debit
You can easily view or cancel a Direct Debit via our Mobile App or through your Online Banking.
Go to the app
While you can’t set up a Direct Debit without the input of the people you are paying, you can view and cancel your Direct Debit directly with us.
You have up until 8.20pm (UK time) on the day the payment is due to cancel.

How do I make a transfer or payment?
You can make payments or transfers on the go by logging in to ourmobile app. Using your mobile app you can:
- Pay someone new* up to £1000 without needing a card reader
- Pay saved payees
- Create, amend and cancel regular payments
*There is a maximum of 5 payments totalling £1000 per day. You must be aged 16 or over.

How can I get a copy of my statement?
If you want paper copies of your online statements for your current account, savings accounts or credit card, you can save and print PDF versions from your Online Banking.
You will get an email when your most recent statement is available.
For help with printing paper statements, you can follow the step-by-step instructions.
- Log in to Online Banking
- Select 'Statements & transactions' from the main menu and then 'View, save and print PDF statements and certificates of interest (up to 7 years)' from the 'Your accounts' section
- Select the account you want the statement for, and then 'Next'
- From the list of available statements select the one you need to print, and then 'View Statement'
- Select 'Download Statement (PDF)' at the start of the page

How do I change my address?
You can change your address with the bank using one of the following options:
Registered for Online Banking
- Log in toOnline Banking
- Select 'Your Details' from the main menu
- Choose from one of the on-screen options
Please note that if you wish to update your address details, our website will give you options to start a chat with one of our agents, give us a call or visit a branch. Please remember to take some form of photographic identification, such as your passport or driving licence with you, along with your active Debit Card and PIN if visiting a branch.
If you use our Mobile Banking App, you can also request a change to your address when on the go via our 'Message Us' feature. Simply select 'Help' when logged in, and then choose 'Message Us'.
Not registered for Online Banking
You can change your address in writing by sending us a signed request addressed to a branch. This can be posted to a branch. Alternatively you can visit any NatWest branch - Please remember to take some form of photographic identification, such as your passport or driving licence with you, along with your active Debit Card and PIN. No, your Rewards won't expire. There is no time limit to exchange or trade up your Reward balance.
If you’ve traded up your Rewards for an eGift card, please check the ‘Your MyRewards Trade Up’ email containing your code for the expiry date.
